A picture perfect riverside wedding villa sitting within one of southern Spain’s most beautiful private estates, nestled in a valley among natural woodland and rolling hills. Without doubt our prettiest wedding venue, this romantic riverside villa is located within a private estate in the picturesque village of Benahavis, situated less than 15 minutes from Puerto Banus and Marbella. To reach the villa you take a private road past the Benahavis lake where you will find it in a stunningly romantic and tranquil setting. We can cater for up to 70 wedding guests and the villa itself sleeps 10 with a beautiful 4 star hotel and unique boutique hotel just a couple of minutes drive away to accommodate the rest of your wedding guests within the picturesque village.
The villa is surrounded by pretty terraces with shaded pergolas perfect for al fresco dining and relaxing. To the front of the house is a very large and beautifully manicured lawn which leads down to the riverbanks and provides a stunning backdrop for your wedding ceremony and dining area. To the rear of the house is the aquamarine swimming pool with lawns and terraces and a lovely setting for your wedding cocktail hour. The gardens are filled with an abundance of mature trees and lush vegetation with pretty, scented plants such as lavender and lilacs giving it a truly romantic feel.
The estate consists of several hundred hectares of completely private and totally unspoilt indigenous Iberian woodland, dissected by the Guadalmina River and a series of crystal clear springs and streams and incorporating a small organic farm and productive organic kitchen garden.
The interior design of the house is a mix of Moorish and Mediterranean influence, popular in Andalucía. Filled with Spanish antiques and Andalucía fabrics the villa is full of charm and a wonderful place to spend quality time with friends and family. Living and dining areas are generously proportioned and open plan giving a feel of light airy space. The Mediterranean kitchen is fully equipped and all rooms lead on to the exterior terraces. The 4 main bedrooms are large with generously proportioned bathrooms, with a fifth attic bedroom which is reached via a steep staircase – ideal either for two older children or friends sharing and also shares a bathroom with a bedroom downstairs. The oversized master bedroom is on the ground floor and consists of large bathroom, walk in wardrobe and bedroom suite with sitting area and open fire place. This then leads on to a beautiful wisteria covered terrace next to the swimming pool. The perfect honeymooner’s room!
