Thank you so much for your enquiry
regarding our beautiful Cortijo Rosa Blanca
and congratulations on your engagement!
This page holds relevant information that will help with your wedding planning
We know sometimes it is difficult to come and visit the Cortijo, especially for our couples who live in far off destinations, so we have had this fabulous video tour made by Reece Iveson.
...and below is a map of the Cortijo as well as the floor plan.
We hope that all of these elements will help you to get a good idea as to whether the Cortijo is your perfect wedding venue in the event that you are unable to come over and visit before booking.
Below are links to our brochures. The downloadable pdf of our brochure contains the venue rental prices as well as an example of our wedding day package. Our wedding package is there as an example of cost but this can of course be tailored to your own requirements for your wedding day as we realise that every wedding is different and should be a reflection of your style and taste.
Click on the catering image to view our current catering options showing the different menus available along with their pricing. Again, we will be happy to tailor a menu to suit your own requirements if you are looking for something slightly different.
Please note that we now have very limited availability in 2025 and we have now opened up for bookings in 2026.
FAQ's
You will find the most popular questions asked here - but if there is anything we have not covered, please don't hesitate to contact us
Who normally pays for the venue as my wedding budget isn’t enough to pay for the villa as well as the wedding day costs?
Couples would usually pay the Wedding Venue fee and then the accommodation cost is usually divided equally between the guests staying at the venue for the week. Occasionally our couples may pay a larger share (if budget allows!) to reduce the cost of staying at the Cortijo for their guests. I have never known a couple to pay for the complete villa themselves and it is not expected by your guests.

Is the cost of the wedding day included in the cost of renting the venue?
No these are separate prices as the people staying at the venue would normally share the cost of the villa rental between them and the bridal couple would pay for the wedding day costs separately. You will see the prices clearly listed in our brochure for the villa rental cost and the wedding day costs. In addition to this there is also the catering costs and you can see a link to our catering brochure in the email I have sent you.

Do I have to use your own suppliers?
No, once you book with us we will send you detailed information about the planning process with a selection of our preferred suppliers to choose from. If none of these are to your liking then you are welcome to choose others. None of our suppliers are set in stone except for our caterers and florist. This is so that we ensure the continued quality of our weddings.
Does the Wedding Day Package include food and drink?
No the food and drink costs are separate and you will find details of these in the Catering Brochure links in the email we sent you. Average costs for food and drink for the day/evening are approx. 120e per person, depending on final menu choices.
Can I make changes to the wedding day package?
Yes we can create a bespoke wedding day for you for example should you not want a photographer we would adjust the price accordingly or maybe you have a family member who would marry you, again we would reduce the cost accordingly. The only elements it is not possible to change are the décor & lighting and the planning & Coordination
How much deposit do I need to pay to secure the venue?
You will need to pay 50% of the rental amount to secure dates and this is payable by bank transfer. The balance of the rental amount is not due until 3 months before your arrival
When do I pay for my wedding day package?
You will pay 2000€ within a couple of months of booking, this is payment of our wedding planning fees. Some of your chosen suppliers may require a small deposit and then the balance of your wedding day cost is not due until your wedding day.

What happens if there is bad weather?
During the riskier weather months of April, May, September and October a very pretty marquee is in place over the dining terrace. This provides cover for up to 80 guests and can also be used for the ceremony space if needed. Our evening bar, shisha room and dance floor are also covered providing dry areas.

Do I get a choice of musicians and photographers etc?
Yes when you book we will send you a list of our recommended suppliers who we work with on a regular basis and in our opinion are the best available but you are also more than welcome to source some of your own suppliers if you wish.
Is there a set arrival day?
This isn’t set in stone but is always during the week and not a weekend.
Can I book your services still if I find my own venue?
I’m afraid we cannot offer this service at the moment as our commitment has to be to clients booking our own venues.
Do I have to get married on a certain day of the week?
No you can marry on any day of the week
Can I legally marry in Spain?
I’m afraid it is still only possible to legally marry in the church if one of you is catholic and anything outside of the church would be a blessing and not a legal ceremony. You would therefore need to do the legal paperwork in your home country with a registrar.
Is there a set finish time for music on my wedding day?
Music has to finish at 1.45am with guests departing the Cortijo at 2am.
Can I book a Band for the evening music?
I’m afraid we don’t have a live music licence so it's only possible to have a DJ in the evening. It is possible to have some live music during the daytime such as a solo singer or acoustic duo.
When can I come to view the venues?
During the summer this is only possible on the guest changeover day so this would never be possible during the weekend and usually on a Thursday. During the winter we hold viewings weekends once a month, please check dates and availability with me.
Do I have to view the venue or meet you before I book?
No, a lot of our clients are from America and Australia so it is not possible for them to visit at all before their wedding day and some of our UK clients are unable to get over before booking. To date no one has ever been disappointed when they arrive at the Cortijo! The planning can all be done by email and phone if necessary.
How long before my wedding date should I book my venue? We are usually booked up a minimum of one year in advance and school holidays book up 18-24 months in advance. Please ask us about our availability if you have specific dates.
How close are the nearest shops?
There is a local shop, bar and restaurant just 5 minute from the Cortijo and a good range of supermarkets, restaurants and bars can be found 10 minutes drive from the Cortijo.
How close is the beach?
The nearest beach is at La Cala and is 20 minutes away.
Is there local accommodation for my other guests?
Yes there is a range of local accommodation for your guests, these include 3,4 and 5 star hotels as well as a good range of self- catering accommodation to suit everyone. When you book we will send you a list of local accommodation and information for your guests.
How far is the venue from Malaga Airport? 25 minutes.
